The Clubhouse at Great American Ball Park
When your company needs to get out of the office, for work or for fun, there are plenty of spaces for team building and creative thinking. The following venues are just a sampling of the Tristate’s many meeting and event options.
Working the Mind
Located in downtown Cincinnati this meeting venue offers multiple caterers, meeting spaces, break rooms, a full kitchen and much more. BrainStorm Creative Meeting and Event Space specializes in entertaining for any event. BrainStorm can house five to 100 people and includes a sound system, two HD flat-screen TVs, white boards, flip charts, Wi-Fi and teleconferencing. Along with those amenities, this newly renovated historic building includes catering and vendors for both office parties and meetings. This includes a selection of six catering and two bartending services. “The staff at BrainStorm goes above and beyond to make customers happy. We excel at customer service and clients notice the difference,” says owner Hazel Bloomfield.
With large windows, high ceilings, exposed brick and beautiful wood, BrainStorm provides an environment that’s both attractive and productive. “We believe companies and individuals function at a higher level of teamwork and creativity when they are in an environment that stimulates and fosters that creativity. Our goal is to provide just that environment,” says Bloomfield.
Dining in Style
The Manor House is a beautiful plantation-style estate that can house events such as corporate retreats, awards ceremonies and social gatherings. Located in Mason, this event space has four main rooms with the capacity to hold up to 750 people. According to Kathy Kanine, co-owner of the estate, The Manor House combines a country club setting and the elegance of a grand hotel with the convenience of a suburban location with complimentary on-site parking. The Manor House has several different menus to choose from depending on what event you wish to host. The culinary staff works alongside the managers in order to provide your event with the best possible experience. Planners can choose to have their event inside or outside. Its exterior features flowers, greenery and a pond. According to Kanine, a stroll around the grounds brings special discoveries such as outdoor seating, perennial gardens, the butterfly garden, several fountains, a courtyard with a retractable awning and a picturesque gazebo.
Baseball and Business
Located in Great American Ball Park, this premier space has floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing guests to look onto the field. Overlooking both the stadium and the river, The Handlebar at the Riverfront Club is home to many corporate events, meetings and banquets. It’s located at the end of the first base line at club level. “This space is amazing with unparalleled views,” says Manager of Special Events Sales and Marketing Katie Dixon. “We do in-house catering with more than 30 menus to chose from.” A plasma-screen TV is located behind the bar and the area can hold a maximum of 250 people.
