ELOC Scholarship Golf Outing

Play a few holes of golf while helping a future student keep on par as a leader of the future.

Northern Kentucky University's Executive Leadership and Organizational Change (ELOC) program will host a golf outing on June 27 to raise scholarship money to help shape a future student into an effective, transformational leader.

The event begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Kenton County Willows Golf Course (3908 Richardson Road, Independence). Golfers are invited to take on 18 holes at the scenic and slightly hilly course. Following golf, guests are treated to a delicious dinner, awards from the day's games, and also a silent auction.

Tickets are available for $90 for an individual ($25 for dinner only) and $360 for a group of four. For more information, contact Event Chair Neil Fedders at (859) 468-3525 or kobiedog5@gmail.com.

The First Annual Women's Mental Health Day

Between work, families and pressure to get ahead, it can be hard for working women to catch a break.

Until now, that is. A Sound Mind Counseling Services presents the First Annual Women's Mental Health Day on June 26 to help women move towards wellness of the mind, body and spirit.

The day focuses on breakout sessions in a variety of areas affecting women: Overcoming anxiety, women in the workplace, managing depression, spirituality, single parenting and relationship recovery techniques. Door prizes, massages, a Zumba workout lesson and vendors are just some of the special treats awaiting guests. Lunch will be included.

The event will be held at the Overflow Ministries Covenant Church (10870 Hamilton Ave., Mount Healthy Heights) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with registration starting at 8:30 a.m.

Tickets are $50 before June 7 and $60 after that. To register, contact Brittany at (513) 948-0023.
