At Cincy’s inaugural Best of the North celebration, more than 600 guests
partied, ate and rocked to the music of DJ E. The event was held at the
Manor House in Mason on Oct. 4. At the end of the evening, guests were
invited to cast their votes for the Best of the North in 68 categories —
from pre-schools to parks, restaurants to hair salons, pet care to
kitchen remodeling and more. Vendors filled two large ballrooms to
showcase why they are the best of the best. Guests enjoyed food samples

Eleven women leaders who, while achieving success in education,

Blaine’s Fine Men’s Apparel kicked off its fall fashion preview with a
special guest — Dusty Baker, manager of the Cincinnati Reds. Blaine’s,

three-time National League Manager of the Year. Baker, who led the Reds
to the playoffs for the second time in three seasons, stopped by the

U.S. Bank in Cincinnati donated 160 backpacks
filled with school supplies to the students of St. Aloysius, 4721
Reading Road. In 2010 and 2011, U.S. Bank committed more than $11.4
million of permanent financing for the renovation of St. Aloysius’
facility in Bond Hill. In addition, last year, U.S. Bank awarded St.
